Our Story
Having faced his own challenges with mental health, Lucas wanted to create a brand and products that may support positive mental wellness and well-being – because your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Lucas has always been a voice of positivity on this topic, often speaking on panels and openly sharing his own story on social media. When he was younger, he also worked with Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation.
Mushrooms have been associated with various health-supporting benefits that Lucas believes positively influenced his own well-being. Growing up in Brazil, holistic medicine has always been his go-to, and he has used functional mushrooms from the first time he was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. To this day, those special superfood ingredients are what keep Lucas balanced and focused whenever things get overwhelming. That experience inspired Lucas to share the supportive properties of these ingredients with others. He was on a quest to discover the perfect ingredients and create a brand he could be enthusiastic about bringing to the market and helping others.
Over the years, he has extensively researched specific mushrooms and their traditional uses, exploring the most effective ways to deliver them through convenient, daily wellness products. Working with top nutritionists, dieticians and other industry experts, our team created products packed with essential ingredients designed to support a sense of balance and daily vitality—rather than offering a quick, one-time fix.

Lucas Castellani (Founder)
is a creative force accomplishing success in all things entertainment. A prominent model, tv host, fashion icon and mental health activist, Lucas has stayed very relevant in the entertainment industry. Throughout his career he has amassed a large social media following, combined with his talent, he was able to work and collaborate with multiple, top tier brands, creative directors and CEO’s. This led Lucas to develop an incredible entrepreneurial spirit.
He now puts all he learned to practice as the founder of Relate, a brand he passionately created to bring solutions to his own struggles with mental health and anxiety to others.
Maya French (Co-Founder)
is a visionary entrepreneur and accomplished brand builder in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, boasting a wealth of over a decade’s experience in the industry. Notably, she co-founded Koia, the nation’s leading plant protein beverage, which has achieved nationwide distribution across esteemed retailers including Whole Foods, 7-Eleven, Publix, and Walmart.
With a profound passion for innovation and a relentless drive for success, French has recently embarked on a new chapter in her career by establishing MAD Projects, a cutting-edge Venture Studio. She serves as the co-founder of two groundbreaking consumer brands making their market debut – Happypop “Sparkling Energy Pop” and Relate Wellness.
